CSNs are supported by sensors, Webcams, computer clients, computer servers, databases,
robots. All of these entities should be as simple (microcontrollers) and inexpensive as possible to allow us wide spread use.

Internet for the people
where Webprocessors(wp) do not necessarily carry sensors,
however wp may have physical (e.f. pir sensor) or process sensors (e.g. a ping sensor) and ws
might have processing power besides providing HTTP or TCP/IP sensor gateways.
This is a list of project hw, database and agent entities. Some
of them are assembled using commercial components,
some are custom made. This list will hopefully grow steadily and serve
the public.
This global network of nodes is HTTP/TCP/IP based, its subnets can be based on
simpler or proprietary protocols.
The nodes of subnets can carry a substantial number of sensors (mobil or fixed).
A typical sensor node (unit) consists of a miniserver with one
or more temperature sensors, infra-red sensors, and one or more IP cameras.
Sensor data can be retrieved (this is known as polling) by web agents that
can act as both server and clients or by users. The client store the data
in one or more databases.
Stronger units can have a miniserver that can open sockets and write
directly (communicate)
with other clients/servers/agents. The intercommunication between agents
is by language and that is why
each database gateway has a flexible (language) interface.
There is more to this project, stay tuned please.
